In order to fulfil its unifying role, PLASTIPOLIS has allied itself to solid and reputable partners. As a result, various partnership agreements have been signed with national bodies and clusters:

= the Regional Development Agency in the Franche-Comté region (a partnership agreement was signed in February 2007),
= the Regional Materials Agency in the Rhône-Alpes region (a partnership agreement was signed in May 2007),
= the Céréales Vallée (biomaterials, in Auvergne, cross-membership), EMC2 (composites, a partnership agreement was signed in June 2007 at the GO PLAST show in Angers),
Axelera (materials),Véhicule du Futur,
Moveo (automotive), Astech and AS V (aero) clusters,
= the Techtera and Microtechniques cluster (cross-memberships),
= 6 European clusters.


In the first six months of 2007, Plastipolis was involved in setting up seven European projects which were submitted in the context of the 7th framework
programme for technological research
and development in the European Union.
More broadly, bilateral relations were initiated in 2006 on the European level and were the subject
of a partnership agreement in 2007:
= PROPL AST Cluster (Piedmont region, Italy),
= KC Cluster (Austria),
= Valencia Plastics Cluster (Valencia, Spain),
= CKF Valley (Germany).
