A European network built up from 2008 through the Clusterplast project
Focus on ALPLASTICS and CLUSTERIX projects
ALPlastics The project began in 2011 in the framework of the European Alpine Space. It will provide multi-level instruments (SME Level 1, Level 2 consortia, government level 3) for the management and promotion of clusters. The main objective is to generate intercluster pilot activities on the theme of the economics of innovation and knowledge to: • Develop cooperation and network operation macro alpine cluster of plastics; • Develop a network of expertise in plastics, can strengthen the capacity of R & D and innovation of SMEs by encouraging technology transfer and long-term cooperation between the centers of the development of research and technology and SMEs regional and trans-regional level; • Develop cross-regional Academy of plastics: pilot for training and knowledge management in the field of plastics. Alplastics The project is in line with various initiatives and projects undertaken in recent years to develop cooperation and synergies of Centres of Excellence and European clusters in the field of polymeric materials.
ClusteriX The project began in 2012 as part of the European program Interreg 4C. It is coordinated by the Austrian Association EcoPlus. Plastipolis involved in the project in partnership with IIBA and participates in the identification of best practices to support innovation and SME support.
