Collaboratives platforms
Platforms in relation to the technological areas of the cluster: Since 2005, various initiatives have been launched to organize a network of federated resources and collaborative platforms on key technologies of plastics industry such as intelligent plastic products with S2P platform.
This network is now a major support in the development and implementation of technology trends from the pole to 2015 +.
And thematic platforms: Platforms
1. PLASTIC CENTER ECODESIGN
The Plastic Eco Design Center (PECL) was created in 2010 to ensure the link technologies and know-how of the converters in the direction of designers and contractors. Plastics EcoDesign Center is a platform to help the design of plastic products are integrated into a process of innovation and respect for the environment. Plastics EcoDesign Center is proposed by a consortium of Allizé-Plastics, Carma, of Proplast, and combines the expertise of a network of French and Italian partners. It combines the European center for plastics, Compositec and training center plastics. The PECL is part of the European network European Design Network, which is the subject of a development project EDEN fi nanced under the interregional program France-Italy Alcotra.
2. POUDRINNOV
The Poudrinnov platform is a platform facilities located in the region of the CEA Grenoble, with a dedicated staff, enabling the development and / or industrial transfer, a pilot-scale testing on equipment and processes in high developing or emerging in the field of powder metallurgy. The platform will be based on the CEA-LITEN and a network of regional research laboratories, technical centers and industrial partners with a set of skills and equipment associated with powder metallurgy. Plastipolis acts as a support and relay to the platform and is part of the steering committee of the project. Plastipolis has also participated in “Powders and Sintered Materials 2011″ which took place in June 2011 at the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, to present the interests of Plastics in powder metallurgy technology. The platform was being installed during 2011.
3. PICTIC
Pictic is a printing platform Components for Information Technology Communication and Sensors. Funded by European, national and regional funds, aims to promote Pictic printed electronics technology and polymer electronics in France. Locks treated by the platform are: • Development of new features: sensor, lighting, logic circuits • Development of compatible devices meeting the requirements of GEN1 processes: alignment equipment capacity, active inks, coating thickness control • Integration of SoF products: injection overmolding • Prototyping and Scale-up to prepare for industrialization
Bearers of the platform • Cea Liten: Technological Development (Complex Functions, polymer substrate) • PEP: European Center for Plastics (injection development processes, simple and complex functions, integration with 3D molded products) Associated Partners • CTP Pagora TekLiCell (Development and Training, simple functions, paper substrates) • Tima: design and training Pictic the project started to fi n 2010, was developed in 2011 and will offi cially opened in 2012.
4. PFMI S2P (Smart Plastics Products)
This project involves a major theme for the business development of plastics: the integration of active and intelligent function in plastic products with high added value. The draft S2P platform relies on a set of technical centers and industrial drivers on these key technologies and aims to stimulate regional and national industrial fi Lières on this issue for the future. • Letter of support from 33 entities, including 22 companies • Submission of the complete dossier in September 2011 in the Deposit • 53 letters of support • € 2 million of private investment for granted • Hearing in November 2011 before the evaluation committee of the CDC and CGI
5. ECOTOX
The experimental platform for environmental toxicology and ecotoxicology Rovaltain aims to assess and prevent risks to health and the environment from potentially toxic agents, particularly those derived from human activity, such as chemical, biological and physical . Its innovative character research and offer the industry a large equipment research and innovation (pregnant confi events with powerful analytical means to encounter risks from different backgrounds to predict and assess their effects on health and the environment in the context of long-term exposure, more or less chronic and low doses, in a logic of multi-pollution and co-toxicities.
7. PLATEFORME INDEED
INDEED is an Institute of Excellence in low-carbon energy (IEED) meet the future challenges of industrial production. His ambition is to build an international leadership in eco-efficient coefficients serving the factory of the future processes, particularly in the fields of energy, chemistry or recycling. It is a unifying project skills and industrial R & D to support the emergence of industrial fi Lières competitive, innovative and sustainable. The project involves a consortium of industry and competence centers such as PFA, PEP, the University of Lyon and CNRS. Three integrative research programs carried by INDEED of partners on the following themes: • The Bioenergy program, which aims to develop processes in the field of renewable energy from biomass. • Processes the low carbon program dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of the industry. It aims to reduce fossil fuel consumption and developing the energy recycling and use of renewable raw materials, to develop bioproducts and biomaterials. • Processes the recycling program for the circular economy, which aims to recycle materials and byproducts. It concerns the building industry, transport, consumer goods and equipment recycling. This project is part of one of the major axes of the plastics industry and Plastipolis and integrate, particularly in Green Valley initiative dedicated to the management of plastic waste in the Plastic Valley.
